1. Program Scope

Magmotor Technologies, Inc. ("Magmotor") offers an annual sponsorship program to support combat robotics teams ("Teams") competing in both the televised BattleBots series and non-televised club, amateur, and collegiate competitions.

By participating in the sponsorship program (including sponsorship, waitlist programs, and promotional discounts), Teams agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Sponsorship Awards

• Magmotor will sponsor up to four (4) Teams annually:

  • Two (2) Official BattleBots Teams

  • Two (2) Club, Amateur, or Collegiate Teams

• Sponsorship benefits and allocations are detailed in the Sponsorship Policy and are subject to change at Magmotor’s discretion.

3. Sponsorship Term

• Sponsorships are granted for a calendar year, from January 1 to December 31.

• Teams must reapply annually to be considered for renewal.

• Magmotor reserves the right to:

  • Renew sponsorships,

  • Modify sponsorship benefits,

  • Terminate sponsorships at the end of any term,

  • Select new Teams at its sole discretion.

4. Application and Selection Process

• Applications are accepted year-round.

• Final reviews and selections will occur each October.

• Selected Teams will be notified by November 15.

• Official sponsorship announcements will be made by December 1.

Incomplete or inaccurate applications may result in disqualification without notice.

5. Sponsored Team Requirements

All sponsored Teams must:

• Submit a complete and truthful application via the Magmotor sponsorship page.

• Incorporate Magmotor products into their combat robots as proposed in the application.

• Promote Magmotor throughout the sponsorship year by:

  • Tagging @Magmotor in all combat robotics-related social media posts.

  • Displaying the Magmotor logo on:

    • The robot,

    • Team uniforms, banners, and pit displays,

    • Any digital or printed promotional materials.

  • Creating at least six (6) posts per competition season specifically showcasing Magmotor products in use.

  • Providing feedback, testimonials, and/or performance highlights upon request.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in suspension or termination of sponsorship benefits without notice.

6. Product Allocation and Discounts

• Sponsored Official BattleBots Teams will receive up to $3,500 in Magmotor products, plus a 20% discount on purchases beyond the allocation.

• Sponsored Club/Amateur/Collegiate Teams will receive up to $2,500 in Magmotor products, plus a 20% discount on purchases beyond the allocation.

• Product values are based on Magmotor's current standard pricing at the time of allocation.

• Shipping for sponsored product allocations is covered by Magmotor.

• All additional purchases are subject to Magmotor’s standard sales policies and availability.

7. Waitlist Participation

Teams not selected for official sponsorship may opt into Magmotor’s Waitlist Program.
Waitlist participants receive:

• A 10% discount coupon for use on all online orders placed at magmotor.com (provided after approval).

• Priority consideration for future sponsorship opportunities.

• Eligibility for promotional spotlights on Magmotor platforms.

Waitlist Teams must renew participation annually to maintain eligibility.

8. Optional Waitlist Promotion Opportunities

Waitlist Teams are encouraged but not required to:

• Tag @Magmotor in social media posts related to combat robotics.

• Display the Magmotor logo where possible (robot, uniforms, pit area, etc.).

• Share updates and testimonials for potential marketing features.

Participation in these activities is voluntary but may enhance future sponsorship consideration.

9. Sponsorship Modification or Termination

Magmotor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate a sponsorship at any time, with or without cause, if:

• The Team fails to meet sponsorship requirements.

• The Team engages in conduct deemed damaging to Magmotor’s brand, reputation, or business interests.

• The Team misuses products, sponsorship benefits, or discounts.

• Changes in business circumstances necessitate program adjustments.

10. General Conditions

• Sponsorships, discounts, and benefits are non-transferable.

• Sponsorship does not create any employer-employee, joint venture, or agency relationship between Magmotor and any Team.

• Teams are responsible for compliance with all event rules and regulations, including but not limited to safety standards, event guidelines, and legal requirements.

• Magmotor’s decision on all matters related to the Sponsorship Program is final.

11. Limitation of Liability

Magmotor shall not be held responsible or liable for any injuries, losses, damages, or expenses resulting from participation in combat robotics activities, use of sponsored products, or involvement in the sponsorship program.

All sponsored products are provided "as-is" without warranty, except as otherwise stated in Magmotor's standard terms of sale.

12. Agreement to Terms

Submission of an application, acceptance of sponsorship benefits, or participation in the Waitlist Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the Team.
